Video Games Live
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 9:23AM As anyone who follows me on Twitter could tell, I was as excited as a 13 year old girl at a Jonas Brothers concert last night. I went to see Video Games Live at the Centennial Concert Hall. The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra was playing music from and inspired by various video games, while accompanied by live performances, clips and cinematics from the games.
Needless to say, it's a total geekfest, but I had a fantastic time. Oh, and fun fact. Apparently at the Centennial Concert Hall, row 4 is actually the FRONT ROW so right up until I went to take my seat, I didn't realize that my tickets were literally front and center (ok, well, front and slightly right of center) I was so close that I actually set my program down on the stage when we all stood up to clap and scream our heads off at the end.
Enjoy a couple stills and clips I shot. If you hear any embarassing screaming or cheering, it wasn't me honest. -- Would I lie to you?
